EagleFest
The Delaware Valley Eagle Alliance, founders and organizers of EagleFest, have planned expanded and new programs for the 8th annual EagleFest in Narrowsburg, NY. Scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2009 (rain, snow, or shine), the day will kick off with opening dedications at 9:30 AM in the Narrowsburg, New York school auditorium. Featuring live demonstrations by Bill Streeter of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center in PA, Lauren Butcher of the Raptor Trust in NJ and Giselle Smisko of the Avian Wildlife Center in NJ, Biologists and naturalists from NY, NJ and PA will be discussing current conservational issues. Cheryl Korn, from Dalton, PA will be the featured artist. Programs for: children - including story telling and crafts; ice sculpture and wood carving demonstrations; photography exhibits; wildlife documentaries; the 3rd annual Nature and Wildlife Art Show; and eagle viewing from the Main Street Deck all add to the day's excitement. According to John DiGiorgio, Delaware Valley Eagle Alliance Chairman, Saturday, January 17, 2009 promises to be an entire day of fun for the whole family!
